About Consolata Propaedeutic Formation House
As a formation house, the Consolata formation House Moshi has the following aims:
To accompany our young people to have an authentic experience of Christ.
To introduce and lead them to a profound knowledge of our Institute so as to develop, grow
a sense of belonging and of family spirit with a view of preparing them for a harmonious
coexistence with others in an international context in future.
To make them learn and understand mission today: Dialogue, justice, mass media, and
inculturation as a continuation of Christ incarnation.
To introduce them in the balancing act of prayer - work style of life of our institute.
To make them understand that in our Institute studies are geared towards mission and are
permeated by it.
To make them learn to live and work together as a foundation of their future ministries.
In order to be able to accomplish those objectives, the Consolata Formation House has the
following means:
Introduction into essentials of personal and communal prayer as a way of creating an
experience with Christ.
Promotion of knowledge of the history of the Institute as a way of helping them make free
and informed decision.
Insistence on looking and living every aspect of life in a missionary way, taking community
life as the criteria and means.
Monthly recollection, monthly formative sessions, and monthly formative dialogues.
Introduction of young people to pastoral activities as a means of developing self-knowledge
and self-giving
